I love painting interesting faces, most of the people in these portraits are either people I've met in my travels or imagination and I think of them as my friends. I believe that art should bring good things into your space such as joy, love, peace, excitement.

Painting is compulsive for me - I most often have a painting in my mind's eye before I start. When I'm lucky I'll meet someone with a face that just has to be painted (usually someone's grandmother whose faces hold such wonderful memories).
